Welcome to the GYGL Website
Who are we?
GYGL stands for Godiva Young Gays & Lesbians although now the groups are for young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Questionning (LGBTQ) people between the ages of 13 and 25. The group is also for young people who are questioning their sexuality. The group has been running for over 10 years and in the last few years an additional group in Nuneaton has been set up.
What do we do?
We meet once a week in the evening. GYGL is a group where you’ll meet other young LGBTQ people as well as getting support along the way on issues in your life.
GYGL has two workers at each location and sometimes volunteers also help to run the group. There is a programme of speakers, workshops and events running alongside the social space.
GYGL is free to join. There’s plenty of drinks, biscuits, magazines, books & leaflets.
Contact: Ewan/Nic of Terrence Higgins Trust on 024 7622 9292 to find out more about GYGL or how to join.
