Reporting LGBT Hate Crime and Discrimination by SMS






Members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community in Coventry can now report hate crime and discrimination by text message.
The new text line – 07939 193443 – has been set up by the Coventry Hate Crime Reduction Partnership following requests from the local LGBT community during consultations by Coventry City Council.

The text line can be used to report a range of hate crimes and discrimination to the Hate Crime Reduction Partnership, part of the Coventry Community Safety Partnership. Anyone using the service is being encouraged to give as many details as possible including what happened, when and where it happened and who else was involved.
