Compass aims to provide a substance misuse service (drugs, alcohol and others substances) that is sensitive to young people’s needs and reaches all parts of Coventry’s diverse community. We welcome referrals from young people, parents/carers and all local services/community groups. Phil Smith is our young people’s substance misuse worker who has special responsibility for making sure that the services we provide reach all sections of the community and also meet different young people’s different needs in relation to substance misuse.
Phil has worked closely with Terrence Higgins Trust’s GYGL, MSM and Gay Men’s Health Promotions teams and projects, and has supported gay, transgender, lesbian and questioning people on a confidential one to one basis in the past.
